Tatiana is a professional high jumper. Her goal is to participate in the Olympic Games and the European Championships.

How would you describe your sport?

The high jump is the sport where you run in a slight curve and then jump over a bar.

More specifically, the jumper must run into the curve with the maximum speed he has.. stand up, look at the bar constantly, and when he comes close to the bar with this high speed he must suddenly put all his strength into one leg and drive it upwards and then bend in the air passing the bar. The more relaxed you are throughout the jump, the easier it becomes! It is a difficult combination, which is why the training sessions are several and long in duration.

What does it take to become a high jumper?

Is high jumping a difficult sport?

Because it's a solo competition, you don't have opponents next to you to pull you or to come head-to-head against you. Your opponent is yourself and your forearm, and it often requires you to have a good mentality.

How would you describe your daily workout?

My daily training activities consist of yoga, gym, stretching, swimming, weights, circuit training, track training, and of course jumping.
