Because there are these lentils too and I can combine them with whatever orange is in my fridge! Red lentils are rich in iron but cook faster than other lentils and are more digestible. They also have a milder flavor than classic lentils.

Implementation:
I put all the ingredients in the pot, add water and boil them. Once they are ready, I puree them with the hand blender. That was it! Our soup is ready.
